I am not vegetarian, but I rarely eat meat or fish, maybe once a month. I eat a lot of cheese and yoghurt.

I’ve been vegetarian since birth, and don’t view meat or fish as food. Whilst it can make things difficult sometimes when travelling, I think the reduced cost and reduced C02 footprint make it beneficial. I have a younger brother who was brought up the same way, but now he occasionally goes through phases of eating meat & fish.

No. Veganism is a lifestyle where you don’t use animal products. I agree with many vegans that many animals are not treated well when they help to make things for us. But I believe they are sometimes treated well…you just need to find the good companies!
So, I eat a plant- and fungus-based diet and maybe some eggs every now and then. I make a big effort to get my meat, eggs, plants and fungi from respectful and sustainable sources.

No, but I very rarely buy meat/ dairy products at the grocery store. I just tend to not care when I’m sharing a meal with others.

I’m vegetarian at home, I don’t buy meat or fish, but if I go to a restaurant then I might order meat (but not always).

I try to eat a few vegan meals every week but I do also eat meat and fish. I can’t eat dairy or eggs due to allergies. My choice is due to reducing our carbon footprint but my husband is taking some convincing to give up meat al together! 🙂
We do however try to reduce our carbon footprint in other ways by eating locally grown fruit and veg as much as possible as well as meat from a local butcher and local farms.
